On October 7, we’re launching another training series on the topic of “Strengthening DigitalResilience—Online Hate, Disinformation, and Conspiracy Theories.” The series focuses on handling online information with confidence, digital resilience, and current challenges to our democracy—such as disinformation, online hate speech, conspiracy theories, and the culture of debate.

Every year, the Engagement Days show just how much we can achieve together. With this new training series, we want to carry that spirit forward: After the Engagement Days comes the next opportunity to get involved. The sessions provide a space to gain new perspectives, strengthen digital skills, and make an active contribution to a respectful, informed, and democratic culture of debate.
Your Tasks
The eight-week online course consists of eight interactive 60-minute sessions and is led by experienced trainers from our social partner, ISD (Institute for Strategic Dialogue). The focus is on practical insights, discussion, and concrete approaches to help us become resilient, reflective, and capable of taking action in an increasingly digital world. Employees will be trained to address current challenges facing our democracy—including online hate speech, disinformation, and conspiracy theories.
The sessions are deliberately designed to be interactive:
- Space for your questions and experiences
- Practical exercises and concrete case studies
- Joint development of potential solutions
- A safe and trusting environment where different perspectives can be discussed respectfully
Sustainable learning outcomes—even beyond the training
To support lasting impact and continuity within the company, all participants receive supplementary materials:
- a comprehensive list of resources for independent study
- concise summaries of each session
- Quizlets to clearly explain and reinforce key concepts
- a personalized training journal for reflecting on their own learning progress

Dates: October 7 through November 25 | 2:00–3:00 p.m. each week
