Painting Family Apartments at the Ronald McDonald House in Berlin-Wedding

The Ronald McDonald House Berlin-Wedding is part of the McDonald's Children's Aid Foundation and, with its 33 family apartments, provides a temporary home each year for about 500 families with seriously ill children. While the young patients receive treatment at the nearby German Heart Center or the Virchow Clinic at Charité, their families find a place of respite in our house after a grueling day at the hospital during what is often a long stay far from home. This is a huge relief for the families, as it allows them to recharge and share experiences with other families in similar situations.

The apartments need to be painted regularly, and it would be great if you could help us with that—we need all the help we can get. With a total of 10 people, we could easily paint two apartments. With a team of 5 people, we could paint one apartment. Either option would work great.

None, except for working neatly :)

Please wear clothes that can get dirty. We do not provide painter's overalls, as they are usually much too warm. We will provide all other materials, as well as the paint.

If you are sick, please be sure to stay home, as we have children with severely compromised immune systems living here!
